This ambitious project is being developed in collaboration with Global Enterprises, bringing together international partners with a shared vision: to establish a major new medical center that reflects the clinical standards, operational rigor, and patient-centered approach of the Hadassah hospitals in Jerusalem.
Development remains underway, in close coordination with Hadassah hospitals management.
A Collaboration Designed for Long-Term Impact
Hadassah hospitals’ experts provide technical assistance to support the hospital’s development—contributing to design input, planning, staff training, and the standardization of medical protocols to ensure high-quality clinical systems and patient care from the outset.
As Prof. Yoram Weiss, Hadassah hospitals’ Acting Director-General, shared at the project’s launch: the partnership is approached “humbly,” and with deep commitment to building a hospital of the highest caliber.
A New Standard of Care for Mexico and the Region
Hadassah Hospital Bosque Real is planned as a major medical complex designed to expand access to highly specialized care—helping reduce the need for patients to travel abroad for advanced treatment.
The hospital is envisioned as a center of excellence, including highly specialized services such as:
- Advanced cancer diagnosis and treatment
- Next-generation imaging and nuclear medicine
- Proton radiotherapy and other cutting-edge modalities
The project also includes plans for training and exchange programs, creating a framework for professional development and knowledge-sharing aligned with Hadassah’s clinical and operational standards.
A Landmark Medical Campus
Planned features include:
- More than 40,000 square meters of hospital building area, within a landscaped campus
- Capacity to serve up to 500,000 patients annually
- A 16-story hospital with advanced technology and infrastructure
- 13 operating rooms
- Approximately 70 on-site physicians and 100 nurses and paramedics
- A 14-story medical office building with space for approximately 450 medical offices
The renowned architectural firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM)—global leaders in hospital and healthcare campus design—has been engaged to plan the complex, with a focus on sustainability and long-term urban wellness.
Leadership and Vision
The project was championed by Isaac Zonana, a leading partner at Global Enterprises, who helped advance the vision of bringing a Hadassah-affiliated hospital to Mexico.
In remembrance: Isaac Zonana passed away in December 2025. His leadership and conviction were central to launching this initiative, and the project continues in the spirit of his commitment to building healthcare that serves humanity.
At the public announcement in Mexico City, Israeli and Mexican leadership recognized the significance of the collaboration, including representatives of Hadassah Mexico and the Israeli diplomatic mission—reflecting the project’s broader role as a bridge between medical communities and international partners.
Looking Ahead
Hadassah Hospital Bosque Real represents a long-term investment in the future of healthcare in Latin America—anchored in professional collaboration, high standards, and shared purpose.
As development progresses, the project remains guided by close coordination between local leadership and the Hadassah hospitals, with the goal of establishing a hospital that will serve patients, strengthen medical practice, and contribute to healthcare excellence for generations to come.
