From its inception Hadassah has campus has embodied hope through healing and healthcare to the entire region. It is a bastion for equal access to care transcending political, religious and national boundaries. The story of Hadassah is tightly bound to the history of Israel – a story of construction, of loss, of vision and of reconstruction. Hadassah founded much of modern medicine in Israel and today operates Jerusalem’s two leading hospitals with offshoots in Beit Shemesh, and Bosque Real in Mexico. Hadassah International operates an international network of support organizations supporting communities worldwide with accessibility to Hadassah protocols in times of crisis, collaborative projects with leading institutions worldwide for the advancement of research, supports Hadassah field hospitals in war-torn regions, and runs a Young Hadassah Program for emerging leaders who see health as a beacon for bridge building and progress.
