Hadassah hospitals
Hadassah Medical Organization includes two university hospitals in Jerusalem
Hadassah hospitals are Jerusalem’s leading tertiary care facilities offering the highest level in specialized treatment across the spectrum of medical disciplines. In collaboration with the Hebrew University Hadassah Medical School, Israel’s preeminent institution for healthcare research and development, Hadassah leads the way in cutting edge research, breakthrough technology and precious human capital.
The hospital system has built its foundation on a triad of pillars associating people, technology and infrastructure to ensure the growth, prosperity and stability of care for the population at large. With the population of Jerusalem growing at a rapid pace, Jerusalem’s hospitals service some 1.35 million people. As Jerusalem’s primary referral hospital, Hadassah has integrated a host of leading medical technologies including robotics, minimally invasive procedures, artificial intelligence, 3D printing, proton therapy, advanced monitoring, stem cell / CAR-T therapies, regenerative medicine and drug development to name but a few recent advances.
Hadassah Medical Organization, founded by Hadassah, The Women’s Zionist Organization of America, established modern healthcare in Israel. Caregivers treat without regard to race, religion, sexual orientation and nationality. For its achievements and unwavering dedication to peace through equal access to treatment for the people of the region, Hadassah is the only Israeli hospital ever nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize.
